Christ should come first! Obviously, we know that, but it is so important to begin your day by meditating on the Word, praying for others, and learning to be Christ-like. Starting and ending your day with God leads you to grow more in grace. No one is perfect and I had to learn the hard way. I was a lukewarm Christian and God found me when I was very lost, but I did not know that I was lost. I am living proof that God finds his children and uses their testimony to help others. Jesus sent me through over 40 days of temptation from the enemy, and every time I was tempted I chose God. My foundation and our foundation should lie in the cross and that is how we withstand the temptations of the enemy. God showed me that we must repent and not be one foot in and one foot out of Christianity. It is so important that we ask Jesus into our hearts and not fall for the darkness that is in the world.

When God found me I was able to fully understand his Grace and Love. It's when you find God, that's when your life will begin and you will find your purpose. When we start and end our day by believing that we are made whole; despite how we feel, if we believe it; it is so. Say "I believe it; it is so, not because I feel it, but because God has promised." What we fail to understand as humans in the flesh is that until we are saved by Jesus, worldly ways are hard to resist. It is so important to walk by the spirit and not by the flesh. "So I say, walk by the spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." Galatians 5:16. Without Jesus everything is so much harder, so why not find the love and peace that comes from his love? After being saved by Christ, worldly desires became easier for me to resist. My mind and body no longer allow me to participate in drinking, gossiping, cursing, lying, etc. Not because I "just wanna go to heaven," but because I have been completely renewed in Christ. Sometimes we think that we are too stuck in our ways to turn to Christ and change our lives, but that is not true. The wonderful truth is that Jesus saves! When we live for him and all of his glory he helps us become a brand new person in his image. The things that we found to be hard to overcome, become easy when we talk to God about it. I am currently in the stage of giving little areas of my life to Christ. Areas like family, finances, worries, fears, anxieties, and past-self ideas. We should ask Christ every day to come into our hearts and we should serve his purpose for our lives. We must trust that the person who created us has our best interest. What better way to turn to our Father in Heaven who loves us and ask him to help us in our life? After all, he has our best interest and when you believe in God, he will show you the way. When we find the way there is "the peace that surpasses all understanding," Philippians 4:7. God is our guide in life and I have found that God has all of his children, but he is knocking waiting for us to let him lead our lives. I love God and I love the one body that is found in Christ! God is so good and he really appreciates us being authentic, just the way he made us, so don't forget that the best part of our real selves is found through him so, it GETS BETTER! Better than you could imagine. So please, don't be afraid to leave behind the unhealed version of yourself, and ask God to renew you!
